Be one step ahead in building your career
The National Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair (NYEEF) is a networking and learning event for young women and men aged 18-35, which will be held on 13-16 November 2023 at the Freetown International Conference Centre in Aberdeen, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
This four-day event organised by the Office of the Vice President in collaboration with Ministries of Labour & Social Security, Technical & Higher Education, Trade & Industry and Youth Affairs will help connect young people to employers, recruiters and tertiary institutions for the purpose of employment, entrepreneurship and skills development.
Young Sierra Leoneans from across the country will have the opportunity to speak to successful Entrepreneurs, Founders and CEOs and ask them about their experiences, challenges and lessons learned.
NYEEF Objectives:
- To improve the employability of job seekers
- To improve the competencies of youth who choose entrepreneurship as a temporary or permanent alternative to employment
- To connect students and job seekers to employing organisations for the purpose of placing them in decent jobs
- To contribute towards the development of the National Job Creation Strategy
